The Safer Solutions team has had a busy few months, with World Environment Day events and lots of conferences and expos. Recently we’ve attended a World Environment Day celebration at Bondi Beach and Safer Solutions publications have been on show at the Huskisson World Environment Day celebration; Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo – thanks to Playgroups NSW; and the National Greenbuild & Renewable Energy EcoShow.

Safer Solutions at the HIA Homeshow!

Jo Immig and the Safer Solutions team attended the Sydney Homeshow on the 12th and 13th May. The new Safer Solutions for Safer Renovations guide was launched and Jo presented lots of great greenovation tips for home renovators on low and no chemical alternatives to hazardous chemicals.

Jo Immig talks on community chemical issues

Jo Immig presented at the Hazmat conference held in Sydney over 10th and 11th May. Jo’s topic, "Community Chemical Issues: What are the Current and Upcoming Issues?" brought a much needed human face to the issue of hazardous chemicals management in Australia.
